Haywards Beetroot Toastie

Place some sliced bread drizzled with olive oil into a preheated oven and cook until crispy. Top with cheese and some finely sliced Haywards Beetroot, season with salt and pepper
Serves 4
What you need
- 4 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Haywards Beetroot, finely sliced
- 200g cheddar cheese, sliced
- baking tray, lightly greased
How to make it
- Place sliced bread onto a suitable oven tray.
- Drizzle a small amount of olive oil over bread.
- Place under a preheated grill and grill until golden brown.
- Remove from grill and place onto plate and top with sliced or grated cheese and finely sliced Haywards Beetroot.
Hints and tips
- Try out lots of different breads like onion bread or sundried tomatoes for exciting new flavours.
- Goats cheese and beetroot are a delicious combination, follow the recipe but make the substitutions and use ciabatta bread, serve with fresh rocket
