Help towards your 5-a-day by adding sweetcorn, peas and a red pepper to Homepride Tomato and Herb Pasta Bake to make a ‘traffic light’ pasta bake

Serves 4

What you need

  • 200g dried pasta
  • Jar Homepride Tomato and Herb Pasta Bake.
  • 1 red pepper – diced
  • handful frozen peas
  • small tin of sweetcorn, drained
  • 100g grated cheese
  • ovenproof dish, lightly greased

How to make it

  1. Place dried pasta and vegetables into a ovenproof dish.
  2. Cover with Homepride Tomato and Herb Pasta Bake and 2/3rds jar of water (as instructed on pack)
  3. Bake for 25 minutes at 200ºC/ Gas Mark 6.
  4. Remove from the oven and stir, then cover with cheese then bake for a further 20 minutes.

Hints and tips

  • Try serving with a tomato salad for a delicious supper idea.
  • Try adding different combinations of vegetables to create your very own traffic light bake such as cherry tomatoes, broccoli and orange peppers.
