When using Homepride Roast Chicken Cook-In Sauce, stir in 3-4 spoonfuls of double cream for the final 5 minutes of cooking for a creamy casserole.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 400g chicken, diced
  • Jar Homepride Roast Chicken Cook-In Sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons Double Cream
  • non-stick pan
  • ovenproof dish

How to make it

  1. Add the oil to a hot pan and cook chicken the chicken for 10 minutes until sealed, stirring constantly.
  2. Transfer the chicken into an ovenproof dish and pour over Homepride Roast Chicken Cook-In Sauce.
  3. Bake for 1 hour in a preheated oven at 200ºC / Gas Mark 6.
  4. Stir in the double cream 5 minutes from the end of cooking.

Hints and tips

  • For a healthier alternative try adding a spoonful of natural yoghurt or low fat crème fraîche.
  • Serve with creamy mashed potato or long grain rice and seasonal vegetables.

  • My mum cooked this on friday for me and my brothers and my step dad we all ate it all it was delicious we all loved it my baby brother callum wasn't that keen on it but he tried it and I liked it because I really liked the taste I didn't think I would like it on the picture but it was gorgeous I really liked it by sarah's daughter Alyissia
