Use Homepride Curry to make a fruity coronation style chicken curry – simply cook some chicken add a jar of Homepride Curry Sauce then stir in a couple of teaspoons of mango chutney, sultanas and a chopped apple.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 chicken breasts – diced
  • Jar Homepride Curry Cook In Sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons Mango Chutney
  • 1 apple, cored and diced
  • handful of sultanas
  • non stick frying pan

How to make it

  1. Heat the olive oil in a hot frying and add the chicken, sauté for 10 minutes until the chicken is sealed.
  2. Pour over Homepride Curry Sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in mango chutney, sultanas & apple then cover & simmer for 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.

Hints and tips

  • Serve the curry with boiled rice and a warm naan bread.
  • This curry is also delicious served hot or cold in a soft tortilla wrap.
