When using Homepride Sausage Casserole Sauce, try adding some cooked sausages and covering with creamy mashed potato before baking for a flavoursome Banger Pie.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 8 sausages
  • 1 Jar Homepride Sausage Casserole Cook-In Sauce
  • 400g mashed potato
  • ovenproof dish

How to make it

  1. Gently fry or grill sausages for 10 minutes until evenly browned.
  2. Place sausages into an ovenproof dish and pour over a jar of Homepride Sausage Casserole Cook-In Sauce.
  3. Cover with mashed potato and bake for 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 190ºC / Gas Mark 5.

Hints and tips

  • For a mouth watering addition Sauté some sliced leeks and add to the Banger Pie.
  • Add a can of baked beans to the sauce and create a Cowboy Banger Pie.
