Marinate prawns in Loyd Grossman Madras Curry and then grill, for a delicious spicy starter.
Serves 4
What you need
- 1 Jar Loyd Grossman Madras Curry Sauce
- 300g peeled raw king prawns
- handful of coriander leaves, chopped
- saucepan
- 4 skewers
How to make it
- Bring the Madras Sauce to a boil in a pan and continue to cook until a thick paste is formed. Transfer to a shallow dish and cool.
- Thread the prawns onto the skewers, place them in the sauce marinade, cover and transfer to the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Place the skewers under a hot grill and cook for 10-15 minutes until the prawns are cooked, turning the prawns over midway during the cooking.
- Serve garnished with chopped coriander leaves.
Hints and tips
- If using wooden skewers remember to soak them in water in adavance to prevent them from burning.
- In the summer cook the prawn skewers on a barbecue.
