Sharwood’s Rogan Josh sauce is also great served with roast duck legs.

Serves 3

What you need

  • 3-4 Duck legs
  • 420g Jar Sharwood’s Rogan Josh Cook In Sauce
  • roasting tin with rack
  • non-stick saucepan

How to make it

  1. Place the duck legs on a rack and place in a roasting tin and cook in a preheated oven 190ºC/ Gas mark 5 for 40 minutes.
  2. Drain any fat from the duck and then transfer the duck legs to a saucepan and pour over the Sharwood’s Rogan Josh cook in sauce and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Serve with rice and Sharwood’s Naan bread.

Hints and tips

  • Duck really benefits from being cooked long and slowly but to prevent the curry from becoming too greasy it is important to roast the duck initially on a rack and then drain off any excess fat.
