Rogan Josh Meatballs

For a twist on Sharwood’s Rogan Josh, heat the sauce and pour over meatballs.
Serves 3
What you need
- 500g lean beef or lamb mince
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 150g chopped frozen spinach, defrosted and well drained
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 425g Jar Sharwood’s Jalfrezi Cook In Sauce
- non stick frying pan
How to make it
- Place the mince, garlic, spinach and cumin in a bowl and mix together well then divide the mixture evenly into 12 portions and shape into balls.
- Dry fry the meatballs in a frying pan for 10-12 minutes or until well cooked through and browned.
- Empty the jar of sauce into a pan and simmer for a further 10-15 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked.
- Arrange the Rogan Josh meatballs on a warm serving dish.
Hints and tips
- For a really speedy version of this recipe buy some ready cooked Swedish Meatballs from the chilled aisle in your local supermarket and just warm through in the sauce.
- If you perefer a vegetarian Rogan Josh try using some Quorn Sweedish Style Balls and cook as directed on the pack instructions.
