Sharwood’s Tikka Masala sauce served with stir fried king prawns, red and green peppers is delicious – add chopped chilli for that extra kick.

Serves 2

What you need

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 red pepper, diced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 350g fresh raw tiger prawns
  • 1 red chilli, sliced into rings
  • 420g Jar Sharwood’s Tikka Masala Cook-in Sauce
  • non-stick pan

How to make it

  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add red and green peppers and stir-fry for 3 minutes or until the peppers are just beginning to soften.
  2. Add the prawns and cook for 3 minutes or until the prawns change colour.
  3. Stir in the sauce and gently heat through.
  4. Add the sliced chilli to the top and serve immediately with basmati rice.

Hints and tips

  • Chunks of salmon also work very well in the recipe and if you like less heat garnish with finely shredded spring onions rather than red chilli.
