Pear and Chocolate Crumble

A simple and tasty Pear Crumble to serve with warm Ambrosia Chocolate flavour Custard.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 1 x can pear halves in fruit juice
  • 300g ready made crumble topping
  • Ambrosia Chocolate Flavour Custard
  • Ovenproof dish

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/Gas Mark 4.
  2. Drain the pears and place in the bottom of an ovenproof dish.
  3. Sprinkle the crumble mix evenly over the pears and bake for 35 – 40 minutes.
  4. Serve with warm Ambrosia Chocolate Flavour Custard.

Hints and tips

  • For a really crunchy crumble topping add a handful of porridge oats.
  • Other fruits such as apples, rhubarb or peaches are delicious in this crumble.

  • you can also add raisins to the fruit to soak up some of the juices. Or you could soak the raising yourself in brandy to make the crumble a naughty treat
