For a quick and easy dessert that the children love just place some chocolate Swiss roll slices into a large dessert bowl and soak in the juice from a can of mandarins. Make up some Chocolate Angel Delight and stir through some canned mandarins then chill before serving.
Serves 6
What you need
- 1 chocolate Swiss roll, cut into slices
- 1 small can of mandarin oranges in fruit juice
- 1 Chocolate Angel Delight Sachet
- 300ml semi skimmed milk.
- large dessert bowl
How to make it
- Line a dessert bowl with sliced chocolate Swiss roll.
- Drain a can of mandarin oranges and pour the juice over the cake reserving the mandarins for later.
- Meanwhile make up the Chocolate Angel Delight as directed on the pack instructions and gently stir in the mandarins.
- Pour the Angel delight mixture over the soaked sponge and then transfer to the fridge and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Hints and tips
- For an adult dessert try adding a little orange liquer to the mandarin juice.
