Use Hartley’s Apricot jam to glaze chicken or ham during roasting

Serves 6

What you need

  • 4 tbsp Hartley’s Apricot jam
  • 1 tbsp Grand Marnier or water
  • 1 medium chicken or joint of ham
  • small saucepan
  • roasting tin

How to make it

  1. In a small saucepan mix together the Hartley’s Apricot Jam and Grand Marnier.
  2. Stir the mixture over a low heat until the jam has melted down.
  3. Place the chicken or ham in a roasting tin and pour over the jam marinade.
  4. Cook the chicken or Ham as directed on the pack instructions.

Hints and tips

  • This marinade also works well with pork chops and spare ribs for a delicious sticky coating.
