For a cooling dessert on a hot day pour some Ambrosia Custard into a plastic freezer proof container with lid and place in the freezer. Once it is frozen use an ice cream scoop to portion the custard into serving bowls and serve with a selection of fresh fruits.

Serves 6

What you need

  • 500g carton Ambrosia Custard
  • 300g prepared fruit such as strawberries, peaches, blueberries
  • plastic freezer proof container with lid
  • 4-6 glass dishes

How to make it

  1. Pour some Ambrosia Custard into a plastic freezer proof container with lid and place in the freezer.
  2. When the custard is frozen use an ice cream scoop to portion the custard into serving bowls.
  3. Serve with a selection of fresh fruits.

Hints and tips

  • To avoid ice crystals forming on the surface of the custard cover with a sheet of greaseproof paper then put the lid on the freezer proof container before placing in the freezer.
  • The frozen custard is delicious served with a hot chocolate sauce.
