Make a Hartley’s Strawberry Jelly as directed and pour into a large mould, leave to cool and then add some chopped strawberries and then place in the fridge to set. Meanwhile make up a Hartley’s Orange Jelly and leave to cool and then pour on top of the set jelly adding some tinned mandarin segments before returning to the fridge to set. Turn the jelly out onto a plate to reveal a fabulous sunset effect!

Serves 8

What you need

  • 1 Hartley’s Strawberry Jelly, Tablet or Sugar Free
  • a handful of strawberries, washed, hulled and chopped
  • 1 Hartley’s Orange Jelly, Tablet or Sugar Free
  • 1 small can mandarin segments, drained
  • 1 large jelly mould

How to make it

  1. Make a Hartley’s Strawberry Jelly as directed on the pack and pour into a large mould, leave to cool
  2. Add some chopped strawberries to the jelly and then place in the fridge to set.
  3. Meanwhile make up a Hartley’s Orange Jelly and leave to cool and then pour on top of the set jelly and add some mandarin segments before returning to the fridge to set.
  4. To serve turn the jelly out onto a plate.

Hints and tips

  • This recipe can also be made into individual jellies.
  • Try serving with some vanilla ice cream and a wafer biscuit for a special treat.
