Mix Chicken Condensed Soup with milk and stir into cooked chicken and leeks – top with mashed potato and bake for a quick family meal.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 750g potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 large chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 leeks, sliced
  • 295g can Batchelors Cream of Chicken Condensed Soup
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 25g butter
  • 75g mature cheddar cheese, grated

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C, Fan180°C Gas 6.
  2. Boil potatoes until soft.
  3. Stir-fry chicken until almost cooked. Add leeks & continue cooking until just soft.
  4. Stir in soup & milk, mix well & pour into a 1 litre ovenproof dish.
  5. Mash the potatoes with the butter & cheese.
  6. Roughly spread over the chicken & cook for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  • Delicious served with carrots.

  • This is lovely, quick and easy to cook, but really tasty, next time however I may add some bacon lardons just to give it that extra kick
