Mix Batchelors Low Fat Tomato Condensed Soup with cooked prawns, cherry tomato halves and a spoonful of Balti paste for a quick curry idea.
Serves 4
What you need
- 1 red onion, finely diced
- 1 tbsp oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 4 tbsp Balti paste
- 295g can Batchelors Low Fat Tomato Condensed Soup
- 100ml water
- 400g cooked prawns
- 200g cherry tomatoes, halved
- non-stick pan
How to make it
- Heat the oil in the pan and gently fry the onion and garlic for 5 minutes until soft and golden.
- Add the Balti paste and cook gently for about 1 minute.
- Stir in the soup, water, prawns and cherry tomatoes.
- Simmer gently for about 5 minutes or until the prawns are heated through.
Hints and tips
- Delicious served with cooked rice and garnished generously with freshly chopped coriander.
- Try this recipe with some cooked chicken for a tasty change.
