Add Tomato & Basil Condensed Soup to cooked mince, onions, garlic, bacon and mushrooms, heat and serve on spaghetti for a quick Bolognese.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 1 red onion, finely diced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 rashers streaky bacon, finely sliced
  • 500g beef mince
  • 295g can Batchelors Italian Tomato with Basil Condensed *Soup
  • 100ml water
  • 200g button mushrooms

How to make it

  1. Fry the onion in the oil until soft, add the garlic and bacon and brown.
  2. Add the mince and brown well.
  3. Stir in soup, water and button mushrooms
  4. Gently simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Serve with spaghetti or pasta shapes, sprinkled with grated Parmesan cheese.

Hints and tips

  • Delicious served with garlic bread.
