Vegetable Bolognese

To make a delicious and quick vegetable bolognese add some sautéed vegetables to a jar of Homepride Lasagne Red Sauce, heat through and serve with you favourite pasta.
Serves 4
What you need:
- 1tbsp olive oil
- 450g ready prepared vegetables such as onions, red peppers, mushrooms and courgettes
- 1 jar Homepride Lasagne Red Sauce
- parmesan cheese shavings
- 4 portions of pasta, cooked as directed on the pack
- non-stick frying pan
via Asda, Sainsbury's,
Tesco and Ocado
How to make it:
- Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and add the vegetables and fry gently for 10 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
- Pour the sauce over the vegetables, bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked to your liking.
- Serve the sauce in a bowl with a portion of pasta and some grated parmesan cheese.
Hints and tips:
- The sauce can also be used as the base of a tasty vegetable lasagne.
- Add some Quorn Mince to provide extra protein to the dish.
