For a simple but very elegant dessert serve poached pears with a portion of Bird’s custard and to complete the dessert drizzle some chocolate sauce around the serving plate.
Serves 4
What you need
- 4 whole pears, poached in sugar syrup or white wine
- 4 portions Bird’s Custard, made up as directed on the pack
- chocolate sauce
- 4 serving plates
How to make it
- Place poached pears in the centre of the serving plate.
- Pour the hot custard over the pears and then to finish off drizzle some chocolate sauce around the edge of the plates.
Hints and tips
- Try adding some chocolate sauce to the custard to make a delicious chocolate custard.
