For a fabulous orange flavour add a little orange zest to Bird’s Custard. It goes really well with Christmas pudding and is perfect for the festive season!

Serves 4

What you need

  • Bird’s Custard Powder
  • sugar
  • milk
  • zest of 1 orange
  • 4 portions of warm Christmas pudding
  • 4 serving bowls

How to make it

  1. Make up 4 portions of Bird’s Custard as directed on the pack.
  2. Stir through the orange zest.
  3. Place a portion of Christmas pudding into each bowl and serve with some hot Bird’s orange custard.

Hints and tips

  • The custard is also superb served with warm sweet minced pies.
