Try baking apple and cinnamon with Ambrosia custard for a delicious warm fruit dessert.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 4 dessert apples, peeled, cored and cut into quarters
  • cinnamon
  • 500g Ambrosia Devon Custard
  • brown sugar
  • 4 ramekin dishes

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC/350ºF/Gas 4.
  2. Divide the apple between the ramekins then sprinkle over some cinnamon.
  3. Pour the Ambrosia Devon Custard over the apples and top with a pinch of brown sugar.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until the custard is piping hot.

Hints and tips

  • Try this recipe with lots of other fruits such as rhubarb, pears and raspberries.
  • Instead of topping this recipe with sugar why not add some ready made crumble mix for an all in one fruit crumble and custard!

  • 1 jelly any flavour, cup of water, make jelly with water, whisk in large tin of evaporated milk. put in fridge to set. ENJOY

  • HINT: Before putting on the biscuits and bananna swirl on some tofee sauce to create a banofee desert or fresh cream. A deliscous desert for all as you can change it to everyone's liking. Quick to make and easy to adjust the proportions easily!
