For a fabulous starter stuff open cup mushrooms with Paxo Sage and Onion with Apple stuffing, add a knob of butter and bake for 25 minutes until the stuffing is crisp and golden.

Serves 4

What you need

  • Paxo Sage & Onion stuffing with Apple
  • 4 large open cup mushrooms, stalks removed
  • butter
  • baking tray

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/ 375°F/ Gas 5.
  2. Make up the Paxo Sage & Onion with Apple stuffing as directed on the pack instructions.
  3. Spoon the stuffing mixture inside each mushroom and top with a knob of butter.
  4. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until the mushrooms are cooked and the stuffing is crisp and golden.

Hints and tips

  • Serve as a dinner party starter or as a side with your Sunday roast.
