For a perfect supper that the whole family will enjoy dip lightly floured pork steaks in beaten egg then coat both sides with dry Paxo Sage and Onion Stuffing mix and bake in a hot oven.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 4 pork loin steaks or chops
  • plain flour
  • ¼ Pack Paxo Sage and Onion Stuffing
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 25g butter or margarine
  • vegetables and potatoes of your choice

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC/400ºF/gas 6
  2. Dust each pork steak lightly in flour then dip each in beaten egg.
  3. Coat both sides of the meat with dry Paxo Sage and Onion Stuffing.
  4. Place the coated steaks onto a baking tray then dot with butter or margarine and bake for about 20-25 minutes turning over halfway through cooking time.
  5. Serve with your own choice of vegetables and potatoes.

Hints and tips

  • Ensure that you cover the steak all over with the stuffing and don’t forget to dot with butter to prevent the coating from drying out.
