Spread some orange marmalade over sliced panettone and layer in an overproof dish with Ambrosia Custard and bake until bubbling for a delicious winter treat.

Serves 6

What you need

  • 1 medium sized panettone, cut into slices
  • 2 tbsp of orange marmalade
  • 1 carton Ambrosia Custard
  • ovenproof dish, lightly greased

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC/375ºF/Gas 5
  2. Spread the marmalade over the sliced panettone and then layer the slices in an ovenproof dish.
  3. Pour the custard over the panettone and then transfer to the oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the custard is hot.

Hints and tips

  • For a really indulgent recipe sprinkle the dessert with chunks of milk chocolate before baking.
  • Try adding a layer of fruit such as canned oranges or pears.
