When making scones brush them with a little Frank Cooper’s Fine Cut marmalade 5 minutes before the end of cooking to give them a delicious citrus glaze.

What you need
- 1 quantity of scone mixture
- Frank Cooper’s Fine Cut marmalade
How to make it
- Make up a quantity of scone mixture using your usual recipe.
- Bake as directed on the recipe instructions.
- Place the marmalade into a microwave proof dish and heat on a medium setting for about 20 seconds to soften.
- Brush the tops of the scones with the marmalade and then return to the oven for the last 5 minutes of cooking time.
Hints and tips
- Try adding a spoonful of marmalade directly to the scone mixture for a really citrus flavour.
