A spoonful of Robertson’s Golden Shredless marmalade added to some caramelised onions creates a fabulous onion relish.
Serves 4
What you need
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, sliced thinly
- 2 tbsp Robertson’s Golden Shredless marmalade
- non-stick frying pan
How to make it
- Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the onions and cook over a gentle heat for 10 minutes until the onions become golden and caramelised.
- Add the Robertson’s Golden Shredless marmalade and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes until warmed through.
Hints and tips
- This relish makes a great accompaniment to burgers or sausages.
- Try serving cold on a cheese sandwich.
