Croissant and Marmalade Pudding

A delicious take on traditional bread and butter pudding and a great recipe for using up leftovers just tear some croissants, spread with Golden Shred marmalade, place in a dish then pour custard over and bake until golden.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 4 croissants
  • 4 tsp Robertson’s Golden Shred marmalade
  • Carton of ready- made custard
  • 1 ovenproof dish, lightly greased with butter

How to make it

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 170ºC/325ºF/Gas 3.
  2. Tear the croissants open and spread with Robertson’s Golden Shred marmalade then place into an ovenproof dish.
  3. Pour the custard over the croissants.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.

Hints and tips

  • This recipe also works well using other breads such as sliced brioche or panettone.
  • Chocolate custard is also delicious when used in this recipe.
