Pancakes with Hot Orange Sauce

Brighten up your day with pancakes covered in a zesty citrus sauce. Just make a sauce by melting butter and Robertson’s Golden Shredless marmalade then add some orange juice and serve over warm pancakes.
Serves 4
What you need
- 50g butter
- 3 tbsp Robertson’s Golden Shredless marmalade
- 100ml orange juice
- 8 Pancakes, shop bought or home-made, warmed
- small saucepan
How to make it
- Place the butter and Robertson’s Golden Shredless marmalade in a small sauce pan and gently melt over a low heat.
- Add the orange juice and stir well then continue to heat for about a minute until the sauce is hot.
- Place the warmed pancakes onto individual serving dishes and then drizzle over the sauce and serve at once.
Hints and tips
- For a variation try using Robertson’s Silver Shred Lemon marmalade.
- For an extra special dessert idea try adding some fresh orange segments to the sauce and serve with a portion of ice cream.
