Here is a quick dessert for surprise guests or children just make a base with crushed biscuits and a little butter then press into a flan dish and top with Angel Delight. It just takes minutes to prepare and will be gone in seconds!
Serves 6
What you need
- digestive biscuits
- butter or margarine (enough to coat biscuits and create a firm base)
- 1 sachet of Angel Delight (any flavour)
- 300ml cold milk
- 1 medium sized flan dish
How to make it
- Crush the biscuits and fill a flan dish (according to your preference of base thickness) then tip them into a mixing bowl.
- Melt a small amount of butter or margarine and add slowly to the biscuits until the mixture comes together and resembles wet sand.
- Press the biscuits firmly into flan dish and pop into the fridge for approx 30 minutes until firm.
- Make up the Angel Delight with milk according to the packet instructions and pour over the biscuit base.
- Return to fridge until set.
Hints and tips
- Add decoration if desired such as chocolate flakes or sprinkles which works well with Chocolate Angel Delight or add tiny fudge pieces to Butterscotch Angel Delight.
- Try using different biscuits such as gingernuts or shortbread.
