A simple but tasty sausage casserole can be made by layering sausages with sliced potaoes and Homepride Sausage Casserole Cook-in -Sauce.
Serves 4
What you need
- 8 pork or beef sausages
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 Jar Homepride Sausage Casserole Cook-in-Sauce
- ovenproof dish, lightly greased
- frying pan
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5
- Lightly fry the sausages in a pan for about 5 minutes until the skins are slightly browned then place in the base of an ovenproof dish.
- Cover with a layer of sliced potatoes.
- Pour the Homepride Sausage Casserole over the potatoes then stir very gently.
- Cook in the oven for 30-35 minutes until the potatoes are cooked and the sauce is bubbling.
Hints and tips
- Try adding other vegetables to the casserole such as turnip, leeks and carrots.
