Lovely Apple Custard

I made this

Instead of sugar, try adding apple puree at the end for a lovely Bird’s apple custard. Delicious eaten hot or cold.

Serves 4

What you need:

  • Bird’s Custard Powder
  • semi-skimmed milk
  • 2-3 tablespoons of apple puree

via Asda, Sainsbury's,
Tesco and Ocado

How to make it:

  1. Make up the Bird’s Custard as directed but instead of adding sugar add apple puree at the end to add a lovely apple flavour.

Hints and tips:

  • Try using other purees such as apricot and pear for a beautiful fruity custard.
