Add cinnamon sticks whilst heating your Bird’s Custard for a fantastic flavour twist.

Serves 4

What you need

  • Bird’s Custard Powder
  • milk
  • sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick

How to make it

  1. Make up the Bird’s Custard Powder as directed, adding the cinnamon stick whilst heating up the milk.
  2. Remove the cinnamon stick prior to serving.

Hints and tips

  • If you don’t have any cinnamon sticks, add ? a teaspoon of dried ground cinnamon to the custard after cooking.
  • Add a vanilla pod to produce a delicious vanilla custard.
