Mini treats for all the family to enjoy just wrap some sausages and Paxo Sage and Onion Stuffing in puff pastry, glaze with beaten egg and cook in a hot oven for 25 minutes.

Serves 6

What you need

  • 8 sausages of your choice
  • 1 sheet of ready rolled puff pastry
  • 1 sachet Paxo Sage and Onion Stuffing, made up as directed
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • baking sheet

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 200ºC/400ºF/Gas 6.
  2. Cut 8 sausages into 16 pieces by cutting in half.
  3. Divide the pastry into 16 squares then place a sausage and a spoonful of Paxo Stuffing onto each square of pastry.
  4. Wrap each sausage up, seal the edges with beaten egg.
  5. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet then brush with beaten egg.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.

Hints and tips

  • Great hot or cold and served with a salad can make a fantastic picnic idea.
