Mushroom and White Wine Gravy

Pan fry some sliced mushrooms in butter. When the mushrooms are soft add a splash of white wine and fry for a few more minutes. Make Bisto Favourite Gravy as per pack instructions, then add to pan of mushrooms and wine.
Serves 4
What you need
- 5 medium sized mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon butter
- half a glass (60ml) white wine
- 280ml of Bisto Favourite Gravy, made up as pack intructions
- saucepan
How to make it
- Wash and slice the mushrooms.
- Heat the butter in a pan over a medium heat then add mushrooms to pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, stiring constantly until the mushrooms are soft.
- Add half a glass of white wine and cook for a few minutes.
- Pour the gravy into the pan, heat through and serve.
Hints and tips
- This gravy is delicious served with chicken and pork.
- Try using red wine for a rich gravy to accompany beef or sausages.
