This is quick and tasty idea for supper and all you have to do is combine minced beef, mushrooms and pasta with Batchelors Soup and bake in the oven.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 450g lean minced beef.
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 can Batchelors Condensed Tomato soup
  • 1 can Batchelors Condensed Mushroom soup
  • 200g cooked pasta shapes, cooked as directed on packet
  • 75g cheddar cheese, grated
  • frying pan
  • ovenproof dish

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5
  2. Place the mince into a frying pan and gently fry until browned.
  3. Add the onion, mushrooms and both tins of Batchelors Soup and allow to simmer until the onion starts to soften.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and mix throughly then transfer to an ovenproof dish, top with grated cheese and bake for about 25-30 minutes.

Hints and tips

  • Great served with garlic bread and a side salad.
