For a fast pastry free quiche using only three ingredients just make up some Batchelors Pasta ‘n’ Sauce Chicken & Mushroom, add cottage cheese and beaten eggs then bake in the oven until firm to touch.

Serves 2

What you need

  • 1Packet Batchelors Pasta ‘n’ Sauce Chicken & Mushroom
  • Small carton plain cottage cheese
  • 2 large eggs beaten.
  • 1 flan dish, lightly greased

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5
  2. Make up the Batchelors Pasta ‘n’ Sauce Chicken & Mushroom with water only as directed on the pack instructions.
  3. Mix the cottage cheese and eggs together in a bowl then stir into the pasta.
  4. Pour the mixture into a flan dish and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until firm to touch and golden on top.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before cutting into portions.

Hints and tips

  • Can be eaten either hot or cold.

  • Just added this to my shopping list looks very nice. couldn't find the home pride sauce though so I just got the asda brand. will cook it on Monday when my shopping comes.will let you know how it was thanks for the recipe
