Pan fry some mushrooms for a few minutes until soft. Make the Bisto Best Chicken Gravy as per pack instructions, stir in some crème fraîche and add to the pan of mushrooms.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 6 medium sized white mushrooms, washed and sliced
  • 280ml of Bisto Best Chicken Gravy
  • 2 teaspoons of crème fraîche
  • non-stick pan

How to make it

  1. Heat the oil in a pan over a medium heat.
  2. When oil is hot, add the mushrooms and cook for 3-4 minutes until the mushrooms are soft.
  3. Make up 280ml of Bisto Best Chicken gravy as per pack instructions and add to the pan of mushrooms.
  4. Add 2 teaspoons of creme fraiche, heat through and serve.

Hints and tips

  • Serve as an accompaniment to roast chicken with seasonal vegetables and creamy mashed potato.
  • To enrich the gravy add a dash of white wine.
