Spice up plain pasta with this quick and simple idea. Just add a sprinkling of Sharwood’s Medium Curry Powder and some peas to the pasta then stir through a jar of Sharwood’s Korma Curry sauce.

Serves 2

What you need

  • 2 cups quick cook pasta
  • Sharwoods’ Medium Curry Powder
  • 100g frozen peas
  • 1 jar Sharwood’s Korma Sauce
  • saucepan

How to make it

  1. Cook the pasta as directed on the pack instructions.
  2. Whilst the pasta is boiling add a little Sharwood’s Curry powder and the peas.
  3. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  4. Place the Sharwood’s Korma sauce into a pan and heat gently then return the pasta and peas to the pan and ensure the mixture is hot before serving.

Hints and tips

  • Try adding some cooked diced chicken or a can of chickpeas to the pasta before serving.
  • A sprinkling of freshly chopped coriander makes a tasty topping for this pasta dish.

  • i don't know how many times i've looked in my cupboard and there's been pasta and curry sauce there and thought they wouldn't go together but this looks good, definitely going to try it
