A simple but delicious salad can be created by making up a sachet of Batchelors Tomato, Onion and Herb Pasta ‘n’ Sauce, leave to cool then add, tuna, sliced red onion, olives and cucumber.

Serves 2

What you need

  • 1 sachet of Batchelors Tomato, Onion and Herb Pasta ‘n’ Sauce
  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • ½ red onion, finely sliced
  • black olives
  • cucumber, cut into chunks

How to make it

  1. Make up the Batchelors Pasta ‘n’ Sauce as directed on the packet.
  2. Allow the pasta to cool and then chill in the fridge.
  3. To complete the salad, stir through canned tuna, red onion black olives and cucumber chunks.

Hints and tips

  • Serve on a bed of lettuce and drizzle with olive oil.

  • hmm,had a tuna salad in Kenya and Portugal, that could rival any culinary delight, however never managed to recreate the same flavour. Gonna give this a try x
