This fruity, hot pudding is quick and easy to make and perfect for a cold night in. Just top some plums with butter and brown sugar, then roast in the oven until caramelised. Serve the hot plums with Ambrosia Custard and a pinch of cinnamon.
Serves 4
What you need
- 8-10 Plums, halved and stones removed
- 2 tbsp butter
- brown sugar
- 1 can of Ambrosia Custard
- pinch of cinnamon
- ovenproof dish
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 190°C/ 375°F/Gas 5
- Place the plums into an ovenproof dish dot over a few small pieces of butter then top with brown sugar.
- Bake the plums for 20 minutes until caramelised.
- Heat the Ambrosia custard as directed and add a pinch of cinnamon to taste.
- Serve the hot plums in individual bowls with a portion of custard.
Hints and tips
- This dessert is a great winter warmer try adding red wine or mulled wine to the plums for a special treat.
