Rice Brulee

This Rice Brulee recipe is delicious and simple to make, so just heat up some Ambrosia Rice Pudding with a pinch of cinnamon, pour into individual dishes then chill. Before serving sprinkle with sugar and grill until caramelised and golden.

Serves 4

What you need

  • Ambrosia Pudding Rice
  • cinnamon
  • caster sugar
  • 4 ramekin dishes

How to make it

  1. Empty a can of Ambrosia Rice Pudding into a microwaveable dish or pan and stir in a pinch of cinnamon.
  2. Heat for 2-3 minutes in the microwave or gently on the hob.
  3. Pour the rice into small ramekin dishes, allow to cool then transfer to the fridge.
  4. Once chilled cover the rice pudding generously with caster sugar and place under a hot grill to caramelise for a delicious rice brulee.

Hints and tips

  • For a fruity twist place some fresh or canned fruits into the base of the ramekin dishes.
