For an accompaniment to hot dogs or a steak sandwich, take some freshly cooked sauteed onions and stir in a couple of spoonfuls of Branston Sweet Onion Relish.

Serves 4

What you need

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of Branston Sweet Onion Relish
  • non-stick frying pan

How to make it

  1. Add a tablespoon of vegetable oil to a hot frying pan, add the onion and cook on a medium heat for approximately 10 minutes until the onions are browned and soft.
  2. Add two tablespoons of Branston Sweet Onion Relish and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  3. Serve over a steak sandwich or with hot dogs and burgers.

Hints and tips

  • This relish is a perfect accompaniment to serve at a barbecue.
