For a slice of Christmas try mixing together Christmas pudding, Ambrosia custard and a dash of brandy then shape into logs and freeze.

Serves 10

What you need

  • 300g leftover Christmas pudding
  • 3 tbsp Ambrosia Custard
  • 1 tbsp brandy (optional)

How to make it

  1. Break the christmas pudding into a bowl and stir in the custard and brandy if using.
  2. Press the mixture together and form into a narrow log shape.
  3. Wrap in clingfilm and freeze for a minimum of 4 hours.
  4. Serve in slices with coffee after dinner.

Hints and tips

  • Leftover christmas cake also works just as well in this recipe.
