Sweet and Sour Chicken

For a quick and delicious Chinese style supper idea, stir-fry diced chicken and vegetables in a wok then add a jar of Homepride Sweet and Sour Sauce and serve hot with noodles or rice.
Serves 4
What you need
- 1tbsp vegetable oil
- 450g diced chicken
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 red pepper, diced
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 1 jar Homepride Sweet and Sour Sauce
- wok
How to make it
- Heat the oil in a wok or non-stick frying pan, add the chicken and stir-fry over a moderate heat for 10 minutes or until the chicken is cooked.
- Add the onions, peppers and carrots then continue to stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Pour the Homepride Sweet and Sour Sauce into the wok and simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce is heated through.
- Serve with rice or noodles.
Hints and tips
- Try adding additional vegetables such as spring onions, baby corn or mange tout.
